Casa Paz is the ideal place to stay, to have a celebration or wedding party in nature. we have over three acres of land to discover close to vibrant and picturesque Tavira and beaches (only ten minutes by car) but feeling a world away at the base of the mountains.

Casa Paz has many terraces and hidden shady spots to relax but plenty to keep you busy if that’s what you want, a fantastic salt water pool with amazing views, a wood fired hot tub and sauna in the woods, a massage room, bar, bbq, full size Petanque court and fire circle on our land below. we can can organise bike hire and yoga lessons.

at the moment we have x3 accommodation types available, a two bedroom cottage with a extra outside lounge area, a one bedroom studio with kitchen and terrace, and a bed and breakfast with a terrace and amazing views.

We’re Mark and Liz, and we wanted to take a moment to properly introduce ourselves and share a little about what we’re building at Casa Paz, our countryside home and venue in the hills just above Tavira.

Before moving to Portugal, we both spent many years working across hospitality, travel and creative projects in the UK. Between us, our background spans boutique hotels, gastro pubs, guest experience, food-led travel, events and small, design-focused businesses — always with an emphasis on warmth, atmosphere and a strong sense of place.

Casa Paz grew naturally out of that. What began as a family home and small retreat has evolved into an intimate setting for gatherings and creative stays — a place designed to feel calm, generous and unforced rather than formal or production-led. We have been having guests stay for the last four years with small partys and celebration and now feel it's ready for bigger events. We have experience of running weddings and many partys from our restaurants and pubs in the uk.

we can arrange to sleep up to 22 on site and includes terraces, pergolas and gardens arranged around a poolside heart, alongside a wood-fired sauna, natural hot tub, massage room, outdoor bar, boules court and fire pit.

What matters most to us is how the space feels. Guests consistently describe Casa Paz as peaceful, beautifully considered and deeply relaxing — somewhere celebrations unfold naturally, over long lunches, sunsets and candlelit evenings.
